Interlingua

Since 2012 Interlingua has delivered language courses and interpretation services to schools, public sector organisations and businesses across Northern Ireland.



The task: The founder wanted to move her business to the next level and expand its offering to meet market and target audience expectations.


The solution:

  • Andrea began with an intensive review of the business, including target audience surveys, to gain a better understanding of the motivations and barriers to enrolling in language learning and interpreting classes.
  • Based on the findings, she drew up strategic recommendations for the brand to move forward and set out a four-year roadmap to success.
  • Andrea and the client agreed to revamp the company’s marketing materials, to create a professional, friendly and cohesive design style and clear messages aimed at audiences including: primary/secondary schoolchildren, parents, teachers, principals, users of interpretation services, prospective interpreters.
  • Using research insights, Siobhan developed copy that spoke directly to customers and fostered confidence; trust being vital in this sector. Messages were tailored to engage these diverse groups and increase revenue for Interlingua.
  • Claire then created a distinctive and vibrant brand style that was rolled out across a suite of marketing materials including online and social media messages.

Results: Interlingua was delighted to have unified, adaptable branding and design reflecting its ethos as an educational organisation committed to outreach and opportunity.
